This morning, lying on the the mat inside the front door, was an envelope. Inside was a letter from the Home Office. I quote,"Dear Mr Schonken
Thank you for submitting documents in support of your application for British citizenship. I am please to say that your application has been successful...."
WOOHOO!
We now are waiting for a letter to invite us to a Citizenship Ceremony, then we are fully British!

That's gr8 - so you'll be able to do a lot more travel without needing visas!
How long did the application take - seems like 2 weeks!
